Netflix Is No Longer Chill
The promise of streaming TV was that you could possibly watch no matter you wished, whenever you wished. And for some time, that was principally true. But lately, streaming providers have began to dial again the nice-guy stuff and reel within the freebies. Companies throughout the stream-o-sphere are tweaking subscription tiers, elevating costs, and canceling unprofitable exhibits. Netflix has launched an ad-supported tier to its previously ad-free service, and even began cracking down on individuals sharing account credentials. And company shake-ups at HBO Max have resulted in gobs of stuff being faraway from that platform completely.
